Purses and their Secrets
On the canvas and in my studio, in my daily life, their voices resound, the ladies’ voices, the women, the muses.
They keep treasures: bright objects, lucid aromas, sentiments and trinkets and memories, perhaps not so pleasant.
Interwoven in daily events
these objects are witnesses of their femininity, carriers of their rites, the stories, the fables, the conversations; the delicate
pleasure of being a woman.
I’m compelled by the details of unspoken glamour and simplicity to compose, with the fabrics of color and texture, the intimate details of being a woman, the
enchantment.
I am surround myself with whispers, with hints, with an unending puzzle of discovering how they are…women.
